Code to zero by Ken Follett.

A thriller? A spy story?

I have become familiar with Follet’s writings and my objective was to figure out which tricks he would play on the reader to get his hero out of the mess , a real shit hole ( excuse my French), he plunged him into.

It took me a few pages to find out how the novel was layered, weaving together temporal , historical and political elements along with fictional secret agents … double agents … the all lot ( from the CIA to the FBI) , knowing from the beginning that the rocket would be launched!

In  a nutshell,  this novel is not one of my favorites.

Next on the list: On wings of Eagles.
